Eden Adventist Hospital, a specialized Integrative Cancer Treatment facility, was founded in July 2001. The 193 bed-hospital houses 5 departments in a 6-level building (five above ground and one level below) on a 140,000 Pyong (460,000 square meters) tract of land. EAH is situated at the foot of Mt. Chungnyeong, Namyangju City, northeast of the capital city, Seoul. Its location is blessed with a beautiful harmonious natural environment surrounded by mountains and valleys, the serenity of which offers you the opportunity to reconnect with nature. I am Nam Hyuk Kim, a survivor of stage 4 Burkitt’s lymphoma.
At present, 8 years after the beginning of my cancer treatment, I treat cancer patients as a doctor here at EAH. I believe that I have a lot to offer our patients because I do understand the pain, fear, and despair of a cancer patient since I myself experienced the journey.
